The 2175ET is a Maxi-Shear® Professional Sprue-Plastic Cutter. These cutters are designed for separation of soft plastic parts without damage. The ergonomic cutters use by-pass cutting rather than conventional compression cutting to produce clean, flat cuts without pinching or edge deformation. Each Sprue Cutter is designed with slightly beveled edges that allow for minimal blade by-pass, ensuring the finest cut possible. Ideal for Plastic Degating and Sprue Cutting, the 2175ET will cut plastic cable ties and other soft plastics. Each cutter is constructed with ergonomic, rubber cushion grips and a "Light Touch™" return spring that provides proper cutting leverage. This flush cutter is forged from high carbon steel and fits comfortably in any sized hand. Equipped with a glare-eliminating black finish that is easy on the eyes, making it perfect for assembly, production and quality assurance personnel.
