Description

The MT-7058 is an ESD-Safe Mini Lan Cable Tester. This unit is specifically designed to automatically detect good cable connections, open or crossed wires and split wire pairs. All tested function compliance is measured through LED indicator lights and audible tones. The MT-7058 is capable of testing RJ45 TIA568A/B (AT&T - 258A), 10 Base-T, Token Ring, RJ11/RJ12 USOC and Coaxial BNC Cable (BNC Connector Included). This tester is equipped with a Coaxial BNC cable port for identifying cable conditions including shorts, open shields and center conductor breaks. The MT-7058 features Pin to Pin cable map indication and voltage detection for added safety. The MT-7058 comes standard with the main unit and a remote tester for one operator. Each unit comes standard with circuit protection to ensure quality testing. The MT-7058 has been tested repeatedly and with stands a "Long Cable Test" of more than 300 meters (1,000 ft.). The Mini Lan Cable Tester comes complete with a BNC connector and a storage case.
