Description

The FR870B 2-Bank IR Preheater is an updated replacement for the Hakko FR-870-04 IR Preheater. The FR-870B includes an upgrade to use the new high efficiency carbon filament lamps. These lamps nearly eliminate the visible spectrum, while maintaining a very high output in the infrared spectrum with minimal shadowing. This allows for a very even preheating of the Printed Circuit Board. The FR-870B is equipped with an upgraded software program. This program allows you to control the ramp rate at 1, 2 or 3 degrees (Celsius) per second when you are in one of two thermocouple modes. The FR-870B Preheater has 2 switchable zones for heating and still offers the same low profile. The Automatic Operation mode allows for a 3- heating zone profile that can be programmed into the system, and a total of 10 profiles that can be stored for each automatic operation mode. All FR-870B Preheaters can be integrated for a start/stop operation in conjunction with the Hakko FR-803B Hot Air Rework Station, or the Hakko FM-206 3-Port Rework System (integration requires an optional connection cable that is not included).
