Description

The JBC Tools BIL-5B is an ESD-Safe, B-Iron Series Battery-Powered Solder Station. This system features a cordless solder iron (B100-A) with Li-Ion Battery (7.4v/180mAh) and offers Selectable Temperature Control [210-840°F (100-450°C)]. The included B100-A B-iRON is a lightweight, ergonomically designed solder iron, capable of performing up to 100 SMD Soldering Joints per charge. The BIL-5B System is specially designed for handling R&D applications and individual jobs on the go. The BIL-5B System includes a B-iRON (B100-A), Charging Base / Tool Holder and 8.6" Portable Display (PDS).

The B100-A Solder Iron comes standard with a Power Safety Cap. The power safety cap will keep the iron at rest for 1 hour, after which the iron will automatically shut-off. The iron can then only be turned on by returning it back to the charging holder. The tool automatically charges when placed in the tool holder, placing the iron in Hibernation Mode, preventing tip oxidation. The B100-A iron is compatible with the C210 Series Tip Cartridges (Each Sold Separately). The B-iRON is designed with the trusted JBC Heating Technology. This exclusive heating system provides an extremely quick temperature recovery, recovering from 608°F (320°C) to 662°F (350°C) in only three (3) seconds. Dropping only 54°F (30°C) between applications. Whereas a typical iron can drop as much as 126°F (70°C) between applications, increasing recovery time and decreasing productivity.

The included Charger/Tool Holder also features a Quick Cartridge Exchanger and Tip Holder, which enables a safe and easy cartridge swap. The holder is equipped with a Tip Cleaner with Brass Wool and Anti-Splash Membrane.

The BIL-5B Solder System also includes the 8.6" Portable Display (PDS). This 8.6" Screen allows users to monitor and control soldering applications using the B-iRON App. Using the B-iRON App helps improve and optimize your soldering quality and consistency. The BIL-5A includes a PDS Clip Mount, which attaches to the Tool Holder Base and clips in the PDS for a hands-free display system.
