The Metcal BVX250-KIT is an ESD-Safe, Portable, Two-Station Fume Extraction System for the removal of workplace fumes, smoke, dust and vapors. The BVX Series extraction units offer a quiet brushless motor with complete portability. The low-profile and compact design allows the units to be placed under or next to the bench top. Each BVX-250 unit is fitted with two - 2" (50mm) diameter arm ports or configure the station to one - 2.5" (63mm) diameter arm. The BVX-250 features a color LED Status Ring for filter replacement and an easy-access "Remote Bench top" on/off switch with built-in Soft-Start feature. The BVX250-KIT consists of a Fume Extractor (BVX-250), pre-filter 5pk. (FP-BVX250), HEPA 13/Carbon (99.97%) Filter (FM-BVX250), Rectangle Nozzle (BVX-NOZR), Circular Nozzle (BVX-NOZC), Two (2) Nozzle Filters (FN-BVX), Arm/Hose (BVX-ARML) and the "Remote Bench top" on/off switch (RPS-1).

The BVX-250 Extraction System Unit offers many exclusive features including a Powerful Airflow & Suction Capacity. The unit delivers 2x times the suction power of previous models, providing up to 175cfm, using Three (3) Airflow Speeds [High, Medium & Low]. The BVX-250 is constructed with production in-mind, offering a 30 second Filter change. There is no need for removal of hoses or dismantling the extractor to change the filters. The pre-filter is housed in a simple-to-open tray on the top of the unit for easy access and the main filter is removed with a simple twist, keeping your operation moving at full capacity. The unit is designed with a removable 360-degree, rotating Air Diverter, which filters air exhaust through the removable diverter in the rear of the unit. This airflow can be directed in any direction with the 360° rotation, maximizing the operator's comfort. The 360° Air Diverter is removable so the operator can install the BVX-250 into Ventilation Systems via standard 3" ducts [Adapter Required - AC-BVX250-DUCT (Sold Separately)].

The BVX-250 Fume Extraction Unit also features a LED Status Ring. The state of the BVX-250 Unit Filters is indicated on the large, easy-to-see LED Status Ring. Immediately knows if the unit is On, Idle or Requires Pre-Filter/Filter Changes.

GREEN: System is On and Extracting Smoke & Fumes

BLUE: System is On, but in Idle Mode and Not Extracting

AMBER: Indicates the Pre-Filter Needs to be Changed or is Not Installed Properly

RED: The Main Filter Needs to be Changed or is Not Installed Correctly

All BVX-250 Fume Extraction Units Will Communicate with Metcal CV & GT Series Soldering Systems (Each Sold Separately). The BVX-250 can communicate via the USB Connection Port. By connecting the units, the BVX-250 goes into power-saving "Idle Mode" when the soldering system goes into sleep/idle mode, sends filter-status warnings directly to the soldering system when the main filter needs attention.
