Description

The 6993-0258-P1 is the ST-500A Adjustable Z-Axis Platform Stand. This stand accepts the hand piece from either the ST-300 (8007-0427) or ST-325 (8007-0429) Convective/Hot Air Hand Pieces. This unit allows hand-free operation of the hand piece heater, providing access to the entire work area and providing the ability to perform repetitive removal and installation of components. The heat guard equipped for the ST Hand Piece has a "Swivel-Ring". The Swivel-Ring allows the hand piece to be adjusted for planarity to the PCB being worked on. The ST-500A features a sturdy, extruded base that will accommodate either the PH-100 (8007-0572), ST-400 (8007-0435), ST-450 (8007-0433) or ST-1600 (8007-0563) Pre-Heaters. The ST-500A can also be utilized in combination with the ST-525 (6993-0253-P1) or ST-550 (6993-0254-P1) PCB Holders. The ST-500A has been re-designed with an enlarged extruded base for the accommodation of the PH-100 Low Profile IR Pre-heater (8007-0572). The ST-500A Platform measures 21" H x 12" W x 19.5" D.
