Description

The EFM51 is an Electrostatic Field Meter. This meter is designed to measure static charges and test the balance of Air Ionizers. The EFM51 has a compact design and an easy to use four button operation. This meter will measure static voltages within 20,000 Volts (±20kV) with use of a micro-controller. This controller calculates the field strength (V/m) with a pre-set distance (1cm, 5cm, 10cm or 20cm). The EFM51 is constructed with a two-line, 12 digit "Alphanumeric" LED Screen. The two LED Guide Lights help position the meter at the correct distance from a charged test object. Each EFM51 includes a 9v battery and two (2cm) distance guides, a storage bag with ground cord, clip and Certificate Of Calibration. The EFM51 measures 5-1/2" L x 2-5/8" W x 1/2" D.

-The EFM51 Conforms to ANSI/EOS/ESD (S4.1, S7.1, S12.1 & S2.1) Standards & comes with Verification Compliance per ESD TR53 Standards.

*EFM51 may be supplemented by the EFM51CPS "Charge Plate Set". Which can also be used to check and verify ionizer efficiency and offset voltage. The kit measures static decay times from +/- 1,000 Volts to +/- 100 Volts.
