Description

The 5470 is a Desiccators Cabinet with eight Doors. These cabinets are constructed from clear, Cell-Cast Acrylic Plastic and use the Plenum Wall design to introduce Nitrogen (N2) Gas into the wall barriers. This provides a safe, controlled way of storing components or materials sensitive to moisture and humidity. The 5470 cabinet is priced to include the eight Stainless Steel Bottom Trays (8x - 6102BP), Pressure Relief Valves (8x - 6408), Flow Meter (6411) & Crating Fee (Mfr. Required). Each cabinet door is equipped with a standard Lift & Turn Latch Door Opener but is available with upgraded Locking Latch Opener with Keys (6402-T). All Desiccators Cabinets are available with an ESD-Safe Static Dissipative Coating (SDC) - Please Specify Above. The 5470 Cabinet measures 36" W x 18" D x 48" H. Each cabinet Door is designed using Closed Cell Foam Gaskets and the doors are specially formed to increase the gasket life.

Options - The 5470 Desiccators Cabinet has many additional options. Each cabinet compartment can be equipped with a pair of Shelf Racks (6420). The Shelf Racks are plated Stainless Steel (grounded when required) and have 13 rungs. On average, a single shelf rack is able to hold 1-3 (1/2" H) Shelves. The 5470 Cabinet is compatible with the 1/2" Stainless Steel Shelf (6102SS). An upgraded Door Opener is also available for when extra security is needed. These openers are a Locking Latch (6402-T), provided with keys. This lock system will replace the standard Lift & Turn Latch, when specified. The 5470 is compatible with an optional Cabinet Stand (6506). These Cabinet Stands are constructed from 1-1/2" square tube-steel and equipped with adjusting leveling feet. Each stand can be fitted with four Locking Casters (6414), for when your cabinet must be mobile. A Digital Humidity Indicator (6801) is available for all Dry and Desiccators Cabinets. The humidity indicator is designed to measure and display the present moisture and humidity levels within the cabinet.
