Description

The 19651 is a Multi-Mount Mini Continuous Monitor. This monitor is designed to mount on virtually any surface, vertical, horizontal or underneath a work-surface. Using the Remote Alarm Accessory (19653) you can simply connect the monitor and place it in the operator "field of view" to alert the operator of any alarms, allowing the actual monitor to be placed anywhere (out of view or otherwise). The integrated Mat Monitor Switch, which will disable the work-surface monitor circuit when used in areas where there is no ESD work-surface. The 19651 unit is equipped with "Wave Distortion Technology" which continuously monitors the operators wrist-strap's path-to-ground integrity of a single operator and one (1) ESD Work-Surface. The monitor uses a 1.2 volt Operator Test Voltage for reducing the risk of Electrical Overstress (EOS) for the handling of sensitive components. The 19651 Mini Monitor is designed with an Operator's Alarm, using both visual and audible alarms to inform the operator of an intermittent connection and/or connection failures occur. The alarm features less than a 50 millisecond response time, immediately informing the operator of an error. The monitor illuminates "Green" to indicate proper grounding and lights "Red" with an audible alarm when the unit detects connection issues. Each 19651 Monitor features a Park Snap, allowing the operator to disconnect (and park) a wrist-strap when leaving an area without creating a false alarm. The 19651 Mini Continuous Monitor meets or exceeds ANSI/ESD S20.20 Standards (in accordance with ESD TR1.0-01-0) and come NIST Calibrated with Calibration Certificate.

*Calibration Verification - Use the Desco 98221 Wave Distortion Monitor Verification Tester to check the test limits of Wave Distortion Monitors without removing them from their workstations

*The ESDA Wrist Strap standard is ANSI/ESD S1.1. The Wrist Strap System required limit per ANSI/ESD S20.20 Table 3 is 0.8 to 1.2 x 106 ohms with product qualification testing per ANSI/ESD S1.1. Test the range of the monitored circuit is 500 kilohms to 10 megohms.
