The BX1038 is a Replacement Teflon Tube Insert, used in conjunction with the BX1016 Tube Unit. The Tube Unit is designed for use with the FU500-21X Intelligent Solder Feeder System. The tube insert is the inner tube which houses the wire solder from the spool to the iron tip during the robotic soldering process. Each tube insert is constructed from Teflon and measures 30" (700mm) long. The BX1038 is capable of housing wire solder with a diameter between 0.010" - 0.032" (0.3-1.0mm).
