Description

The 770110 is a MagSnap® Dual-Wire Coil-Cord. This cord measures 6 feet in length (fully extended). The 770110 creates a magnetic connection between a SCS Dual-Wire Static Control Smock (770 Series) and a Constant Monitor (Recommended - SCS 724). Offering a superior electrical connection to eliminate intermittent failures found in traditional snap and spring connections. The Coil-Cord features a 1-5 pound (perpendicular) break-away force to prevent accidental disconnects. The Dual-Wire technology provides a redundant path-to-ground for an operator with a resistance of < 3.5 x 10(7) ohms/sq. This meets or exceeds ANSI/ESD S20.20 Standards (Method 1). If one conductor is damaged, the operator will maintain a path-to-ground through the second conductor. All 770110 Coil-Cords meet UL Listed requirements to ensure operator safety.
