Description

The 2175A Maxi-Shear is a Plastics Degating Tool. Designed to separate parts without damage. These ergonomic cutters use by-pass cutting rather than conventional compression cutting to produce clean, flat cuts without edge deformation. Each Maxi Shear™ Cutter is designed with slightly beveled edges that allow for minimal blade by-pass, ensuring the finest cut possible. Ideal for Plastic Degating and Spruce Cutting, the 2175A will cut plastic cable ties, electronic wire leads and copper wire. Constructed with ergonomic, rubber cushion grips and a "Light Touch™" return spring that provides proper cutting leverage. This flush cutter is forged from high carbon steel and fits comfortably in any sized hand. Equipped with a glare-eliminating black finish that is easy on the eyes, making it perfect for assembly, production and quality assurance personnel. All 2175A Maxi Shear™ Cutters are proudly made in the USA.
